We had a jolly good evening on 29th September with Robert. We all had a good time and it was an interesting evening learning about the wines.  Some of us were better than others at knowing which wines were which but it was a fun evening so thank you very much - we shall certainly bear you in mind for another time. In brief summary we thought it was fab! It was very interesting and pitched at just the right level with the right balance between lecturing/lessons and interaction/quizzes etc. Erik was great - very informative, prepared to answer the wide variety of questions we threw at him and with a great sense of humour! A big thanks has to go the Charles who was a star and pitched the wine tasting perfectly for our party. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure that we all, but in particular the hen, enjoyed ourselves. I especially liked the impromptu karaoke which was a great surprise. Just a message to say thanks for the beer tasting - it made for a unique and fantastically enjoyable stag activity and everyone remarked afterwards that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Many of the stag group hadn't met before and it is thanks to the beer tasting that they were all soon joking and laughing together. ThirtyFifty conducted a wine tasting evening at my house for 26 guests. The evening was thoroughly entertaining and education and they showed a good knowledge of the wines sampled. The wines were of excellent quality and many were inexpensive. This has to be the ultimate in try before you buy. Gavin (March 03)
