TerraVentoux winery was established in 2003 from the merger of two cooperatives Les Roches Blanches in Mormoiron and La Montagne Rouge in Villes Sur Auzon, witch previously only sold wine in bulk to prestige negociants. Wine-growing methods improved thanks to a know-how meeting the quality requested: the harvest is selected according to the various plots of vineyards, the Terroirs, age of the vines, the varietals. The winery produces AOC Ventoux red, rosé and white.
The Rhone valley in southeast France, northern Rhone produces the highest qualtiy wines such as Hermitage and Cote Rotie, while the southern Rhone is the most important in terms of quantity.
Almost akin to a white, the wines in this category feature the Gamay grape from Beaujolais. Tend to be pale red in colour with refreshing redcurrant and red berry fruit flavours. Great at lunchtime or served slightly chilled in the summer. Will go down well with non-red wine drinkers.
