Stag Wine Tastings and Beer Tastings

If you're organising a stag party how about a private wine tasting session or a beer tasting to break the ice or round off a day's activities. ThirtyFifty tastings are lively, entertaining and informative, pitched at a level to appeal to novices and buffs alike. Just tell us the likely level of knowledge amongst your group and we'll tailor the tasting to make sure we strike the right balance between education and entertainment. All tastings take about 2 hours and are for a minimum of 10 guests.

Stag Wine Tasting

Our most popular stag party wine tasting is £35 per person. We start by toasting the groom-to-be with vintage Champagne before tasting 2 whites, 3 reds and a Port to finish. During the tasting there are team challenges and a quiz to add a friendly competitive element - prizes and a prize-giving can be provided for the winning team.

We also offer a £40 tasting with higher quality wines including Bollinger and a Single Quinta Port, or a £30 tasting with non-vintage Champagne, Port, 2 whites and 3 reds.

Fine Wine Experience

For a taste of the finer things in life our Fine Wine Tasting, at £50 per person, will appeal to the more serious wine drinker who already has some knowledge - or at least likes to think so! We'll taste a selection of fine wines from Europe to compare against the New World and you can choose to include Champagne or Port. The tasting includes wine challenges and a team quiz to add competitive fun.

To mark the occasion why not club together and splash out on one of the classified growths of Bordeaux - a first growth will set you back about £200 a bottle or choose a lower classified growth from £80 per bottle upwards. Just ask us to quote.

Wine & Port Tasting

We can combine wine tasting with a tasting of 3 different styles of Port - a Tawny, a Late Bottled Vintage and a Single Quinta Vintage Port. Prices are £35 or £40 per person for a 2 hour session including 4 wines and 3 Ports.

Wine & Cheese Tasting

We've teamed up with The Teddington Cheese, to put together a tasting of speciality cheeses matched with wines and a focus on food & wine matching. You'll sample Continental & British cheeses matched with 6 wines and there's plenty of crackers and a chutney to complete the cheeseboard. We include a fun quiz to put your newfound knowledge to the test! The tasting is £35 or £40 per person.

Beer Tasting

If the Stag is into beer rather than wine, let our beer expert introduce you to some of the best brews from the UK and Europe, featuring a number of 'boutique' microbrewery beers. As you taste you'll find out how the beers are made and discover why the flavours can be so different. We also include a fun pub quiz during the tasting, ensuring a great time is had by all, with a competitive element to boot!

The tasting fee is £25 per person for 10 beers or £30 per person for 12 beers with an upgraded selection incorporated into the £30 option.

Beer & Wine Tasting

We can combine beer tasting with wine tasting with 6 beers to taste and 4 wines at £25 per person or £30 per person with an upgraded selection of beers.

Venues

Usually we run tastings at home or at a restaurant, either pre-dinner or before going out. We can recommend venues - provided you eat at the restaurant, most are happy to let you use their private dining room free of charge. Depending on location there may be a small charge for travel.
