Wine Consultant Role

We are continuing to expand our team of Wine Consultants to extend ThirtyFifty's coverage across England, Scotland and Wales. This part-time role is the ideal wine industry job for someone wanting a foot in the door or to continue their involvement on a part-time basis. Initially the role involves organising and hosting private wine tasting parties and providing support at corporate wine tasting events. As you progress there is the opportunity to build your own client base within the ThirtyFifty framework.
Our tastings combine wine education and entertainment with the emphasis on having fun. A thorough knowledge of wine is important, as is the ability to present with confidence in a relaxed and entertaining way. At the minimum, you'll need to have gained the WSET Advanced Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
It is essential you own a car, computer and mobile phone. Willingness to travel beyond your immediate location is an advantage.

We will provide full training to enable you to run a ThirtyFifty Wine Tasting with confidence. Once training is complete you should expect to run 1 tasting per week, with the opportunity to run 2-3 per week once you are established. Our busiest days for tastings are Saturdays for private parties and Thursdays/Wednesdays for corporate events. To generate your own business you'll need to put aside the occasional Saturday/Sunday for local marketing events.
