- Monty Waldin on Biodynamics Part 1
Overview
Monty Waldin is a writer and biodynamic winemaker. In this interview we talk about biodynamic principles and practices and debate biodynamic/organic vs sustainable wine-making. We hear about different methods of biodynamic farming and the different preparations used, such as horn manure, as well as some of the more spiritual aspects that as a biodynamic winemaker you really need to buy into. Monty believes essentially a good wine should reflect where its from (place/soil), it should taste good and offer good value for money and he feels strongly that biodynamic viticulture can achieve all three.
