- Tasting still wines of the Loire with Alexandre Monmousseau from Ch Gaudrelle
Overview
During this interview we taste the 2013 Le Turonien Chenin Blanc - the vintage when storms in June destroyed 50% of the crop. The wine is dry, fresh and smooth with a floral expression. Moving on, we taste the Chateau Gaudrelle 2013 Vouvray and Alexandre explains how Vouvray can age for 10-12 years, developing honey aromas. We also discuss winemaking techniques and barrel fermentation.
