Overview
Stephen Mould is senior director at Sotheby's responsible for London wine sales. Sotheby's was founded by Samuel Baker in 1744 at first selling books. It wasn't until 1970 that the wine department was set up. Stephen joined Sotheby's in 1980 and held his first auction in 1985. In 1991 Serena Sutcliffe MW was appointed as head of the international wine department. Sales are conducted on behalf of collectors of fine and rare wines in London , New York and, more recently, in Hong Kong.
