- Barolo with Enrico Rivetto
Overview
The Rivetto family began producing wine in 1902 in the province of Piedmont in North West Italy. In this second interview with Enrico Rivetto we find out more about his Barolo wines.
Nebbiolo grapes are used to make Barolo wines which are then aged for 3 years for regular Barolo and 5 years for Reservas. Enrico explains what happens to the wine as it ages and says his Barolo can be aged for 10-20 years. During the interview a single vineyard Barolo is tasted against a Barolo from mixed vineyards.
