South Africa is known for Pinotage and Chenin Blanc but there are other grapes coming through including Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc. We talk to Mike Ratcliffe about what is happening with varieties.
With Nederburg Manor House Shiraz 2005 the Trophy winner at the International Wine and Spirits Competition, beating Australia who normally hold the Shiraz/Syrah crown, we find out what is going on in South Africa, and is South Africa's Shiraz about to take off?
