The Chinese Wines are coming!
The Chinese presence on the wine scene has become increasingly obvious and now for the first time Berry Bros & Rudd are to show a Chinese in their spring portfolio tasting. The wine developed in the North East of China in partnership with Austrian wine expert Lenz Moser is a red wine from the Chang-yu winery. Moser has also introduced Berry's to a range of Chinese ice wines made in the remote region of Liaoning under the guidance of Canadian expertise.
The London International Wine Show also shows a Chinese wine for the first time this year with wines from Chateau Hansen based in Wuhai, on the southern edge of the Gobi Desert.
