Hunter Valley gets seal of approval
A sigh of relief from Hunter Valley wine growers who despite fearing a looming grape glut, had some good news. Having sampled some local wines, delegates from the Institute of Masters of Wine have been singing the praises of the local wines, saying they now understand why growers say this is one of the truly unique wine areas of the world. The delegates were part of a group of 45 MWs currently on the Institute's Australia Trip. One local winemaker said a changed perspective will make a big difference in the market place. Quick boys! Spread the word - get it bottled and exported!
