Stags Leap lawsuit

Stags Leap have brought a lawsuit against Treasury Wine Estates as they have been accused of trading off the iconic Napa Valley wine brand. TWE recently launched The Stag, which is made from Australian vines in Vitoria. Stags Leap claim that this has been done intentionally to mislead consumers into thinking it is made in the Napa Valley. TWE have denied the accusations arguing that the stag logo is in reference to the animals link with St Huberts - one of the first wineries established in Victoria.
