UK Wine Awards award top trophy to Coates & Seely

We mentioned a month or so ago about the new UK Wine Awards, well the results are in. The awards were part of the UK Vineyard Association awards(UKVA) before being re-branded as the UK Wine Awards.

The Supreme Champion and also winner of the Best Overall Sparkling Wine and Best Sparkling Blanc de Blancs is Coates & Seely La Perfide Blanc de Blancs 2009. Their Coates & Seely Rosé 2009 also won the Best Sparkling Rosé.

The Best Overall Still Wine was Bolney Wine Estate Foxhole Vineyard Pinot Gris 2016 while the best Still Bacchus was Lyme Bay's Bacchus Block 2015.
