Most people are drinking the same amount of alcohol during Covid-19 lockdown according to a youGov poll. Trapped at home with the nearest and dearest may push some to drink, but slightly more people report they are drinking less.
Headlines in the UK claim that 74% of Britons are drinking the same or more. But the same stats can claim 81% are drinking less or the same. In general, more people claim to be drinking less than more with 57% claiming to be drinking about the same.
