UK Hospitality on lockdown until July and Napa wineries open
The UK Hospitality sector will remain closed till at least the 4th July according to UK Business Secretary Alok Sharma, while in the US Napa wineries are being given permission to open to the public. The UK government is also under pressure to reduce the 2m rule to 1m with many pubs and restaurants claiming they will not be able to trade profitably with such a limitation in space. Companies have been claiming that the WHO allows a 1m social distancing, but this is a misunderstanding. The WHO states people should stay at least 1m from each other and avoid spending time in crowded places or in groups.
