Lorgeril is an independent family business founded in 1620. One of the oldest wine producing families in France. Nicolas and Mirren de Lorgeril took over the family business in 1987. The Chateau De Pennautier winery is situated in 6 domaines in France in the Languedoc Roussillon area surrounded by the garrigue covered moutainside slopes.

Poor quality, high-yielding grape varieties have been replaced with classic varieties, such as Merlot.
