The ideal candidate will be available for part-time work on Saturday afternoons/evenings, and weekday evenings would be a bonus.
About the role
If you enjoy socialising, meeting new people and are relaxed being centre stage as well as having a real love of wine and being qualified to WSET Level 3 or Level 4 (Diploma), we would love to hear from you!
Our team of wine experts is expanding to meet the demands of our growing business and this part-time role is the ideal opportunity for someone wanting a foot in the door of the wine industry or who wants to continue their involvement on a part-time basis. Initially the role will involve hosting fun & entertaining private wine tastings for small groups in addition to providing support at larger corporate wine tasting events. As you progress there is the opportunity to host more educational courses and larger events. You can also build your own client base within the ThirtyFifty framework.
Our tastings
At ThirtyFifty we combine wine education and entertainment with the emphasis on having fun. A thorough knowledge of wine is essential, as is the ability to present with confidence and hold an audience in a relaxed and engaging manner.
Requirements
At the minimum, you'll need to have:
- The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines qualification or equivalent
- A reliable car
- A computer with broadband internet
- Willingness and flexibility to travel beyond your immediate location
Training
We provide full training to enable you to host a ThirtyFifty wine tasting with confidence. Once training is complete you should expect to run around 20 tastings in your first year. Our busiest days for tastings are Fridays and Saturdays for private parties and Wednesdays/Thursdays for corporate events.
