Overview

Neil Philips of Pernod Ricard is the brand ambassador for the premium wine ranges of Montana Wines and Jacob's Creek. We ask him about the Montana Terroir Series and how the different sub-regions of Marlborough produce different styles of Sauvignon Blanc.

They produce wine from three regions - Rapaura, Brancott and Awatere, each with different soils and micro-climates. Montana also grows in the Hawke's Bay region, with the focus on Pinot Grigio as well as red varieties, Chardonnay and a little Sauvignon Blanc.
