Overview

Tom Forrest began his career in wine while working for the International Wine Challenge and on Wine Magazine. He joined Vinopolis in 1999 and was part of the original start up team, in charge of the tasting team. Today he has a much wider role but will be leaving Vinopolis when it closes on 31st December 2015. Tom tells us about the Wine Experience which has over 100 wines available to taste via enomatic machines, as wine hosts guide visitors through the tasting experience. Vinopolis also organises large corporate events and private masterclasses and tastings such as cheese & wine, chocolate & wine and whisky tastings run by the Whisky Exchange. They also partner with Laithwaites who sell wine on-site.
