Gareth King is the viticulturist for Felton Road in Bannockburn, near to Cromwell in Central Otago. Gareth talks about how they planned the vineyard layout, vine spacing and canopy heights. We cover the soils - for example, the reflective nature of schist - and how they are managing shade and dealing with frost risk in the vineyard.
