Overview
Wine Car Boot is a car boot sale for wine aimed at independent wine shops selling wine from a car boot or pitch. Ruth Spivey launched the first event 3 years ago in Sept 2013 with 7 shops and 3-4 food sellers with a couple of hundred people attending. The latest event now has 25-30 wine shops selling wines, food stalls and other foodie attractions. 5 events so far and have done 1 in Stellenbosch in Sept 2014. The 6th London event is happening this Saturday on the 17th September from 12 to 8pm at the Greenwich Peninsula, new area by the O2 which has seen a lot of development. Really easy to get to via the Jubilee line tube to North Greenwich. It is free entry to give it more of a market feel. You can buy tokens for samples or by the glass and you can buy bottles to take home. See more info at www.winecarboot.com
