- Stefaan Massart from Chateau Vilatte on the estate and antique winery equipment
Overview
The Massart family acquired estate in 1973 when Stefaan was a child. At the age of 18 he began making wine. They have 13 hectares in production making red, white, rose and Cremant under AC Bordeaux and AC Bordeaux Superieur appellations using organically grown grapes. Across the estate there are 5 or 6 different types of soils in various vineyard plots. They also have a museum with a collection of antique wine making equipment and old oak barrels.
