- James Hawkins of Hawkins Bros Fine English Wines
Overview
Hawkins Bros Fine English Wines is a specialist in English wines, selling wine from 32 producers with over a 100 lines stocked. James Hawkins set up the shop in December 2015 with his brother Simon.
The shop is located within a bigger farm shop with other outlets such as a butchers, garden centre with cheesemongers, greengrocers etc. Clients are mainly from the local area from about a 20 mile radius as well as those simply driving by. They also sell wine online - small at moment, about 5% of sales. They have their own label sparkling wine made by Greyfriars Vineyard (3 miles away) which is a Classic Cuvee 2013 vintage and is their biggest seller. www.hawkinsbros.co.uk
