Overview
Michael has lived in Italy for 40 years and is based in Veneto. He became a sommelier only 6 years ago and has the Diploma, he joined the regional association and is now on the board of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS). The AIS was established in 1965 and how has 40,000 active members. They specialise in sommelier training courses from Levels 1, 2 and 3 for students to study and qualify as a sommelier. We touch on wine service and serving wines by the glass.
