- Wine for Normal People with Elizabeth Schneider Part 1
Overview
Podcaster Elizabeth Schneider is based in North Carolina on the east coast of the United States. Originally from New York, Elizabeth was living in Atlanta in 2009 when she first started a wine blog/business and then began the Wine for Normal People podcast in 2011. She is a certified sommelier but has distanced herself from the Court of Sommeliers since the scandal last year and would suggest WSET as a way for people to gain qualifications in wine. As well as the podcast, Elizabeth runs courses and classes online, teaching live and limiting numbers to around 40 people. She uses Patreon for social media and as a way to help fund the podcast and is also available for public speaking, runs online corporate events and has written a book Wine for Normal People. For her, the audience is her main focus and of the utmost importance in all that she does.
