- Ian Harris CEO on the WSET into the future
Overview
In this third interview with Ian Harris we find out about changes brewing at the WSET and upcoming initiatives.
On the 17th January 2022 they will host the annual graduation and awards ceremony in London as a hybrid event with people attending in London and online for those who can't be there in-person.
We talk about CBT (computer based testing) for exams, different to remote invigilation, and we talk about the WSET's APP (Approved Programme Provider) educator training.
The WSET is going to be launching a beer qualification - many years ago they used to include beer in the lower level specifications but removed this from the qualification to focus on wine and spirits. They will have a real focus on the L3 spirits qualification, particularly in the USA with the spirits companies.
