- Re-using wine bottles with Marta Mendonca of the Porto Protocol Foundation
Overview
In this episode we talk to Marta Mendonca of the Porto Protocol Foundation about their bottle collection initiative, the Reuse Ready campaign. They collected 20,000 bottles, and analysed 1,097 bottles from the sample. Marta explains some of the findings of the research which revealed there were around 900 variations of 'standard' 750ml Burgundy and Bordeaux bottles, and argues that standardisation is the way forward for reusability.
