- UK Wine Show 38 Jamie Goode on Wine Science
Overview
This week we talk to Jamie Goode about his book, Wine Science, his wine blog and website, wineanorak.com and a new book he is working on about natural wine.
Wine science was published in Nov 2005 and explores the technology of wine while raising some interesting points about methods of production and issues associated in the industry. Jamie has a page dedicated to the book wine science
Jamie's blog wineanorak.com started in the late 1990's. The website serves up over 230,000 pages a month (as of January 2007) to 60,000 people.
His research into natural wine raises many questions about its definition. Jamie considers natural wine to be a continuum and that at some point along that continuum the industry must say what is acceptable and what is not.
