Argento trains consumers to drink its wines
Fancy a pre-Christmas tipple on the way home from work? The Argento Wine Company is banking on the fact that you will by offering tastings of its new wines at London Victoria, Leeds and Manchester railway stations. This is part of a six-month campaign for the Argentinian brand, which will also include sampling at consumer events around the country to promote the new Malbec and Chardonnay varietals. Argento’s general manager, Amelia Nolan, explained to ThirtyFifty that the aim is to, ‘bring the brand and the quality of the wine to life and takes the risk of out buying if you’ve had the chance to taste.’ Under the banner ‘Argento – the real Argentina’, the campaign rolled out at the Spirit of Christmas Fair last month. Amelia said that so far the wines have been very well-received.
