Bill Koch settles another fake wine lawsuit

This lawsuit has been running since 2008 but last Tuesday it was at last settled. Billionaire William Koch has at last settled his lawsuit worth millions of dollars against New York auction house Acker, Merrall & Condit. The settlement terms weren't disclosed but they were described as substantial. The lawsuit relates to 216 counterfeit bottles that were sold to Koch in 2005 and 2006 worth $2,121,583. Koch has filed other lawsuits disputing counterfeit wines brought from Hardy Rodenstock, Rudy Kurniawan, who is due to be sentenced next week, and Eric Greenberg. Perhaps he can now sit back and enjoy a nice glass of wine - authentic of course!
