Gold Bordeaux

Mouton Rothschild and Angelus started the trend of gold embossed bottles and now Medoc estate Rollan de By have followed their lead. Five wines have been housed in gold-embossed black bottles and are named the Collection Or blended by the World's best sommelier 2007 Andreas Larsson. The 2010 Cru Bourgeois estate bottles are priced at 199 Euro's each. The gold is etched onto black glass with each of the five designs taking cues from the wine name – Tour Seran features a tower and La Rose de By a rose in full bloom. The launch is timed to take advantage of the Christmas gifting market.
