M&S to use UK firm for wine bottling

For the first time Marks and Spencer will use a bulk bottling plant based in the UK to bottle their New World wines. Kingsland, the appointed company, has recently improved its manufacturing and logistics facilities which are based in Manchester. The retailer says it aims to become the world's most sustainable and therefore wanted to base its bottling business within the UK. Kingsland currently packages 74 million litres of wine a year but are said to be currently running at 70% capacity.
