Champagne sue wine critic

Yet another court case with the French Champagne trade body, the CIVC, who are returning to court with the critic Champagne Jayne. The CIVC are in dispute over her registering of the name Champagne Jayne in Australia where she reviews other non-champagne sparkling wines. The Comite Champagne argue this is misleading. Last December 3 days were spent in court deliberating and now both sides have returned for mediation. This could have ramifications for other critics and companies who use the name Champagne.
