English wine got another endorsement this week as Lidl announced that it will now be stocking English Wine by producer Denbies. Sold under the Broadwood Folly label the rose and white wine will be available in March retailing at £7.99, and a Sparkling Wine at £14.99. English wines continue to go from strength to strength with Waitrose reporting that their English wine sales were up by 188% over the festive period.
Denbies is England's largest vineyard and attracts 300,000 visitors a year. General Manager and son of the owner, Chris White, lets us in on the secret of Denbies' success.
