Welsh government to introduce Minimum Pricing

The Welsh government plans to start the process of introducing minimum price for alcohol in Wales. The legislation will put a minimum price on a unit of alcohol, along with enforcement plans. This follows on from Scotland implementing a minimum pricing policy in 2012, but this legislation is still being held up in the courts over concerns that it breaks EU law.
