Australian giant Accolade sells UK’s largest bottling plant

Accolade's bottling plant known as “The Park” imports bulk wine from Australia and New Zealand, bottling the wines in Bristol for the UK and European markets. It is Europe's largest bottling facility capable of filling 1,200 bottles of wine every minute!

Encirc started in 1997 in Derrrylin, Northern Ireland and in 2005 built the Cheshire Bottling site that makes bottles, fills and stores wines in bond. In 2015 Spanish company Vidrala purchased Encirc and added it to it’s international portfolio of glass manufacturers.

Encirc will acquire The Park facility and all associated plant and equipment. As part of the transaction, approximately 400 employees will be engaged in manufacturing at The Park. Accolade has put in place a 10 year deal for the Park to continue to provide bottling solutions.
