WineGB award winning wines

The medal season continues with Wine GB announcing winners of the WineGB Awards. While sparkling wines continue to dominate the gold medals, there is a range of still styles being produced that are attaining gold medals. Grape varieties include Bacchus (UK equivalent to Sauvignon Blanc) oaked and unoaked chardonnays, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Précoce & Pinot Gris. There was range of styles with whites, reds and rose and even an orange dry vermouth by Denbies!

Two producers were surprisingly absent from the medal haul - Ridgeview and Nyetimber - whose names did not appear in any of the categories.
