Concha y Toro takes majority stake in Maison Mirabeau

Chilean wine group Viña Concha y Toro has acquired a majority stake in Provençe rosé producer Maison Mirabeau, marking a new chapter for the fast-growing brand, subject to regulatory approval.

The deal was announced by VCT Europe, which said both businesses will continue to operate largely as they do now, with all existing distribution agreements for Maison Mirabeau remaining in place. Founded in 2010 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk, the Provence rosé specialist has built strong distribution across the UK, Europe and international markets.

Stephen Cronk will stay on as CEO and join a new Mirabeau board alongside Simon Doyle, general manager of VCT Europe, and Andrea Mirone, the group’s finance and operations director. Doyle said the partnership reflects shared values around quality and sustainability, while Cronk described the move as “an extraordinary new chapter” that will accelerate growth and environmental ambitions. Maison Mirabeau is a certified B Corp with strong regenerative viticulture credentials.
