Gang of five wine critics launch site

A new online subscription service called The Wine Gang has just been launched by 5 UK wine critics aiming to inform consumers of the best wines on offer in the UK. The 5 are Olly Smith of BBC1's 'Saturday Kitchen', Tom Cannavan of wine-pages.com, Anthony Rose of The Independent, Joanna Simon of The Sunday Times and Tim Atkin MW of The Observer.

Each month they will compile a comprehensive report, featuring at least 200 tasting notes and covering both good and bad wines. Each wine is ranked on a 100-point scale. They will also pick 5 top fives every month with the 5 Greatest, the 5 Best Value, 5 To Lay Down, 5 Shockers and 5 of the Moment.
