What a racket!

It was game, set up and snatch during the Wimbledon tennis championships when 300 crates of Champagne Lanson worth more than £90,000 were stolen. Thieves posing as contractors arrived in a lorry at the All England Lawn Tennis Club during the first week of the championships and collected the bottles, which sell at £50 each. The AELTC had been informed that a collection would take place during a two-hour slot and the thieves duly arrived and, having gone through the security procedures and provided the Club with a receipt, took the Champagne away. An hour later, the genuine contractors arrived to pick up the Lanson bubbly.
