Fairtrade wine on promotion

The biggest promotional campaign for Fairtrade products began on 23rd February and will run until 8th March.

Fairtrade Fortnight is being supported by retailers across the Uk with a range of in store offers on Fairtrade wine including award-winning Chilean producer Equality by Las Lomas.

UK sales of products carrying the Fairtrade mark reached an estimated retail value of £700m in 2008, an increase of 43% over 2007. Sales of Fairtrade wine grew by 27% in 2008 and there are now 280 Fairtrade wines available in the UK.
