Bloomsbury to auction wine
Bloomsbury Auctions is to hold its first ever wine auction in New York on 19 June.
Best known as a specialist in rare books and fine art, Bloomsbury will bring their auction house expertise to the world of wine in a collaboration with fine wine merchant Sokolin.
To attract clients the buyer's premium at 17% is lower than other major wine auctioneers and Bloomsbury is offering a money-back guarantee on wine that is damaged or doesn't match the photos on its website.
Along with many Bordeaux first growths, the 778-lot sale includes over 200 bottles of Domaine de la Romanée Conti and a six-pack of 1985 Sassicaia.
