Antony Worrall Thompson wine loophole

Celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson is back in the news, this time over his wine company ADP Wines which was set up originally to supply his restaurant chain. His restaurants went into administration in February 2009 owing £800,000 but the administrators are now in dispute with ADP Wines over a £36,000 consignment of fine wine to which they are claiming ownership.

ADP continues to trade and supplies three of the restaurants the chef has since reopened. Administrators at BHG Insolvency Practitioners say they are taking legal advice to resolve the dispute.
