IWSC Southern Hemisphere & Trophy results out

The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) announced results for Southern Hemisphere wines this week as well as the overall Trophy winners for all the categories. Villa Maria Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2009 won a Gold best in class as well as the Trophy for best Sauvignon Blanc. The Southern Hemisphere picked up more Trophies than their Northern Hemisphere counterparts although English producer Nyetimber stood out winning a trophy for the best bottle fermented sparkling wine of the competition with their 1992 Blanc de Blancs.
