First Quench franchisees go independent

Its been confirmed that most of the 88 franchised stores licensed by First Quench Retailing will continue to trade as independent off-licences. A law firm is finalising a deal with administrators, KPMG, to reach a settlement over money owed to First Quench by the franchisees and agree the leases of the shops with property agent, Christies. It is likely that KPMG will give franchisees credits for the unused proportion of their franchise fees which were paid upfront to First Quench.
