Sherry bar a first for London

London's first ever sherry bar has opened in London bringing with it an authentic taste of Jerez that will make you think you are really there. Bar Pepito is in King's Cross serving sherry and tapas, a few moments away from sister restaurant Camino in Varnisher's Yard. The owner Richard Bigg is on a mission to change the old-fashioned image of Sherry in a collaboration with Gonzáles Byass, who produce Tio Pepe. Their wines make up nine of the 15 Sherries on offer, along with one beer and a seasonal Sherry-based cocktail.

The bar also has a Enomatic machine which dispenses sherry by the shot in 25, 50 and 75ml servings starting at 95p and going up to £4.50 for a 1968 Oloroso.
