Last of the summer wine

If only the weather had been as dry for this year’s English Wine and Regional Food Festival as the winning wine of the show was! Attendance at the event in East Sussex was affected by showers as well as strong winds, but those that did go were treated to a host of tastings from our home-grown vineyards as well as various other attractions. Biddenden Vineyards’ took the top prize in the Festival’s annual wine competition, with its dry white Ortega 2005 being named Wine of the Show.
