Wine and music the classic accompaniment

As reported in February Synaethesia is the word describing the association between the senses and some Oxford researchers had discovered a link between taste and sound. Now Classic FM and Laithwaites are capitalising on this discovery with their Tasting Notes programme which takes listeners on a tour of wine producing countries around the world. And while you enjoy a specially selected wine from the region, they'll play you the perfect classical accompaniment. Presumably they'll be playing Brahms and Liszt!
