- Rivetto wines with Enrico Rivetto from Barolo
Overview
The Rivetto family began producing wine in 1902 in the province of Piedmont in North West Italy. In this first interview with Enrico Rivetto we find out about the wines and the region.
The Rivetto estate is 35 hectares of land of which 20 hectares are vineyards producing 100,000-120,000 bottles per year. This makes them a medium to small winery for the area. They produce Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco wines. During the interview we taste 2 of their wines - the Matire 2007 Langhe Bianco (100% Nascetta) and the Barbera d'Alba Zio Nando 2007 (100% Barbera).
