- Chateau Palmer 2013 Horizontal with Chris Myers and Lorenzo Pasquini
Overview
We continue our talk with Chateau Palmer's assistant winemaker Lorenzo Pasquini. We taste two Chateau Palmer wines - the Alter Ego and Chateau Palmer from the 2013 vintage. Alter Ego is meant to be drunk earlier than Chateau Palmer but not immediately, it is still best after at least 5-10 years of age and the Palmer for 20-40 years plus. We discuss the winemaking and the different styles of the two wines as well as talking about the 2013 vintage conditions.
